Vienna in Milan & Rome

Architectural projection-mapping created with Mou Factory for Event Affair as part of a tourism campaign for the Vienna Tourist Board.

The projection premiered in Milan on the historic arch of Porta Garibaldi (sponsored by the City of Milan) and was later adapted and restaged in Rome on the facade of Palazzo Venezia in the historic centre of the capital, formerly the Austrian Embassy at the turn of the twentieth century.

Starting from the cultural archetypes that define Vienna’s identity, both mappings transformed the classical Italian stone facades into a playful, unexpected portrait of the city.
